Turning your child's pet into wall art they'll never forget

Why a hand-painted print of the family pet might be the most meaningful piece of art in your kid's room, and how to make one in minutes.

There's something quietly magical about the bond between a kid and the family pet. Long before they have words for it, kids are building entire emotional worlds around the animal who naps next to them, who waits at the door, who is always, always, happy to see them.

So when we set out to design Pet Adventure, the question wasn't 'how do we make pet portraits?' It was 'how do we make a piece of art that captures what this animal actually means to your kid?'

Why nursery-soft watercolor (and not a photo)

Photos are precious, but they don't grow with a kid. A photo of your golden retriever at three months old is a memory. A hand-painted scene of that same dog sailing a tiny boat across a pastel sea is a story your kid can step into every night before bed.

We use soft, dreamy watercolor because it sits in that sweet spot between real and imagined. Your pet is unmistakably them, the floppy ear, the spot over the eye, but the world around them is whatever a four-year-old wants it to be.

Three scenes, one little world

Every Pet Adventure set is a triptych, three matching scenes painted in the same palette, designed to hang together. One pet, three tiny adventures. Hot air balloon, sailboat, paper plane. It feels less like decor and more like a children's book your kid happens to live inside.

What you need to make one

  • One clear photo of your pet (phone camera is fine)
  • About two minutes
  • A wall

That's it. No design skills, no choosing between 40 styles. Our system reads the photo, picks a palette that flatters your pet, and paints three scenes that work as a set. You preview the whole thing before paying anything.

Make your pet's adventure

If your kid is in the picture too

If you want both your kid and your pet in the art, that's a different format, see Me & My Pet for portraits of the duo together. Pet Adventure is the pet alone, in three magical worlds.
